Grand Vision Family Office
We’d rather lose you on this page than three meetings from now.
Most pages like this tell you who they’re for. We want to start by telling you who we’re not.
Not because we’re picky for the sake of it — but because the honest thing, the thing that actually respects your time, is to be clear before anyone schedules a call or signs anything.
So here it is, plainly. We are built for ambitious, driven people. That part is never in question. But there are two kinds of people this is genuinely not for, and we’d rather say so now than three meetings from now.
This is not for you if…
There are people who will happily work a hundred hours a week, every week, for as long as it takes — because the number is the goal, and nothing else comes close. More hours, more deals, more money. They’ll trade almost anything for it: the dinners, the trips, the recitals, the years.
We have nothing but respect for that kind of fire. But it isn’t what we’re built for. Everything we do is designed to do the opposite — to help you make money work hard enough that you don’t have to give your whole life to it. If maximizing the number is worth more to you than the time and presence it costs, we’re going to feel like we’re pulling in the wrong direction.
We’re not here to help you earn more at any cost. We’re here to help you earn back your life.
Some people want the swing-for-the-fences bet — the play with the biggest upside, even if the odds are long and the downside is total. They’re comfortable risking it all for the chance to multiply it. It’s a real strategy, and some people run it well.
It is not what we do. We build for safety and durability, not for the home-run swing. Our job is to put your money into things steady enough that you can step back from the crazy schedule, take the trip you keep postponing, and trust that it all keeps working without you watching it every day. If the only number that matters to you is the highest possible return — whatever the risk — we will frustrate you.
We’re not against ambition. We’re against mistaking risk for a plan.
But if you read those two and quietly thought “that’s not me” — then we should keep talking.
Who we are for
The people we do our best work with tend to share four things. None of them are about how much money you have. All of them are about how you think.
You are ambitious and driven — you wouldn’t be reading this otherwise. But you’ve stopped measuring success by this quarter or this year. You think in decades. You want to slow down the crazy schedule, be there for your kids when it counts, and live well now — not someday, not at 65, not when the number finally feels like enough. The point of the work was always the life. You’ve just remembered that.
You understand that the most important financial decisions rarely feel urgent in the moment. The move you make today might not show its full weight for ten or twenty years — and that doesn’t frustrate you. It’s exactly why you want to make it now. You’d rather plant the tree today and sit in its shade later than keep waiting for the perfect moment that never comes.
You’ve been around long enough to know that the shortcuts usually cost more than the long way. The scheme that promised to compress the timeline. The bet that looked brilliant until the cycle turned. You’re not interested in fast and fragile. You want the version that’s built right, even if built right takes longer — because you already know that’s the only version that holds.
This is the one that ties the others together. You’re not trying to win this year. You’re trying to build something steady enough, durable enough, and well-structured enough that it’s still standing long after you — protecting the people you love, carrying the choices you made today into a future you may never see. Wealth that protects, not just wealth that accumulates.
“Wealth was never about the number for me. It’s about what the number makes possible — the time, the presence, the freedom to be there for the people who matter, and to leave something behind that actually lasts.”
— Mike Neubauer, Founding Partner
